Few things equal the thrill of owning a brand new bicycle - we very much hope you thoroughly enjoy your recent bicycle purchase - but make no mistake, regular and consistent maintenance is most definitely going to be needed if the bicycle is to remain in a safe and roadworthy condition.
Some people decide to hand the maintenance aspect of a bicycle over to a local cycle shop that specialises in quarterly servicing.
However that is not necessarily the cheapest or best option - it is definitely possible, providing a bit of care and attention to detail is initially taken, for even the most inexperienced cyclist to successfully maintain their bicycle to a satisfactory standard.
